Description
The role is an individual contributor position and has the purpose to represent the company and business strategies, develop the sales optimization at our partners within Velogy’s trading and export channel, increase total value creation, manage the full order-to-cash process while maintaining a high degree of agility.

Requirements and expertise
- Drives for results and achieves sales and pricing objectives at the customer in terms of contribution margin, volume, customer share, cost management, bad debt and working capital in order to maximize the total value creation for the business
- Develops and nurtures relationships with established partners in order constantly optimize value (pricing vs. volume management) and capture relevant market information for the business
- Constantly review partner portfolio within the Trading and Export channel to ensure the current and future set-up will continue to “fit-the-purpose”
- Respects all policies and procedures and proactively “lives” them and ensures formal governance compliance and company work ethic culture
- Supports closure of customer claims in a timely manner and limits Velogy’s exposure related to customer complaints
- Continuously presents opportunistic sales to the business on a regular basis in order to maximize asset loading
- Provides regular up-dates on market intelligence and competitive movements to the business in the trading and export area in order to deliver the base of current and future business decisions
- Develops strong relationships with key stakeholders and builds an effective network. Key stakeholders include: Customers and internal interfaces such as business management, quality, technical service, supply chain, customer service, credit, tax, legal and financial services and operates as quickly and effectively as possible in achieving targets
Personal skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field required.
- In addition, an MBA or master’s degree in science or engineering preferred.
Work experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Polymers and/or Chemicals, Sales, ADTS, Customer Service or BDA required.
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Office Word/Excel, SAP R/3, SalesForce)
