Rotterdam, Netherlands, September 30, 2026 – Customer centricity is at the heart of Velogy’s strategy. To make business easier for customers, the company continuously invests in supply reliability, customer proximity, and flexibility across Europe.
As part of this commitment, Velogy operates a growing network of logistics hubs that position products closer to regional markets, enabling shorter lead times and greater supply chain agility.
Today, Velogy and Bertschi signed an agreement for a new Belgium Import Platform in Antwerp. The hub will support imports from the United Kingdom into Central Europe and enable faster customs-cleared deliveries to Sweden and other key markets.
Bringing materials closer to customers
By storing products closer to customers, transportation is limited to the final delivery stage, significantly reducing lead times and increasing flexibility. “Customers are constantly looking for ways to gain a competitive advantage in their business,” says Richard Roudeix, Chief Executive Officer of Velogy. “This agreement marks an important milestone. Together with Bertschi, we are helping customers moving forward with confidence in a changing European market. With customer centricity at our core and agility as our differentiator, we are applying a new edge through sharper decision-making, closer customer partnership and a clear focus on performance.”
A strategic hub in Europe
Located at the Port of Antwerp, one of Europe’s leading chemical logistics centers, Bertschi’s Plastics Hub provides container and bulk storage capacity as well as services such as container decanting and warehousing. The integrated infrastructure allows customers to make packaging and delivery decisions at short notice, helping them respond more effectively to changing market demands. “Velogy’s ambition to move Europe forward aligns perfectly with our extensive rail, barge, and truck network across the continent,” says Alain Hadorn, Managing Director Business Unit Dry Bulk at Bertschi Group. “Together, we help customers succeed through smarter and more efficient logistics solutions.”
Supporting growth across Europe
The Antwerp platform is another step in Velogy’s ambition to help customers do business successfully across Europe through reliable supply chains, high-quality materials, and local market support. Velogy is also exploring similar partnerships in strategic markets such as Italy and Sweden, further strengthening its European footprint and commitment to helping customers find their edge.
