The Field Service Engineer (FSE) delivers on‑site and remote support to end users, ensuring a secure, reliable, and productive digital workspace across Windows devices and mobile platforms. This position will also serve as a key interface between the DT organization and the business, ensuring that IT initiatives align with operational needs and facilitating effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. Proactively gather feedback from users and business leaders to improve service delivery and support organizational objectives. The role owns the full endpoint lifecycle—imaging/provisioning, configuration and policy management, account and access provisioning and day‑to‑day support. The FSE acts as the hands‑on interface between users, central engineering teams, and vendors to drive quick resolution, excellent customer experience, and strong compliance posture. Given these responsibilities, an excellent communication background is essential. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements and expertise
- Provide 1st/2nd Level Field Service support to users in one or multiple locations
- Triage, diagnose and resolve incidents within SLA; escalate to engineering or vendors as needed.

- Mobile equipment management: Expertise in supporting and managing various mobile devices and equipment.
- Maintain IT inventory and asset accuracy.
- Execute user account provisioning, group membership, and license assignment.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows-based services.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to optimize infrastructure and support business needs.
- Provide 3rd level support for local applications with assistance from the application support team.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Digital Technology (DT) organization and business stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of priorities, constraints, and outcomes.
- Proactively collect and synthesize feedback from end users and business leaders to identify pain points and opportunities to improve service delivery.
- Collaboration with third parties: Experience working with external providers for on-site maintenance and incident management.
- Document system configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end users and junior IT staff.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Work experience
- 5-7 years experience in a client facing IT Support role.
- Expertise with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Intune (device & app policies, compliance, reporting), Windows Autopilot, Active Directory (users, groups, GPO basics), and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Solid proficiency across Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online) and Outlook troubleshooting.
- Mobile device management for Android Enterprise and iOS/iPadOS (enrollment, profiles, compliance, app deployment).
- Relevant Microsoft and Cisco certifications are highly desirable.
