The Specialist MOC & Quality Online Analytics supports the Online Analytics department in ensuring the safe, cost-effective, and legally compliant operation of all analytical, pro-cess analytical, and gas detection equipment. He is responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, planning, optimization, and quality assurance of the analytical systems at the site, as well as for selected cross-site tasks. The position’s primary focus is on analytical quality management, test equipment control, and the technical handling and coordination of Management of Change (MOC) processes and analytical projects. In doing so, the in-cumbent ensures compliance with all HSEQ, AQS, quality, and compliance requirements, as well as legal, regulatory, and corporate guidelines.
Requirements and expertise
- Cross-site responsibility for test equipment monitoring and analytical quality re-view, including monitoring AQS control charts for all analytical instruments, sen-sors, and sample preparation systems, as well as assisting in the development of maintenance and inspection schedules
- Technical support for analytical projects and management of change processes, including on-site coordination, as well as assisting with forecast planning and planning coordination
- Participation in equipment acceptance tests (Factory Acceptance Tests) at the manufacturer’s facility and commissioning (System Acceptance Tests) on-site
- Assistance with the preparation and planning of shutdown activities
- Planning, monitoring, and ensuring the service quality of external service provid-ers
- Coordinating ongoing material and spare parts procurement, including cost con-trol, while taking forecast planning into account
- Invoice and goods receipt checks, verification in SAP, and approval of work re-ports, service, and installation work
- Independently performing maintenance on analytical, sample preparation, and gas detection systems, as well as conducting regular safety inspections to verify compliance with HSE guidelines on-site
- Acting as the substitute for the Online Analytics Supervisor at the Münchsmün-ster site within the Velogy Analyzer Network Team
Education
- Successful completion of an apprenticeship in electrical engineering, automation tech-nology, chemical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable technical field, followed by further training to become an industrial foreman/HWK master craftsman or a tech-nician in electrical engineering, chemistry, or mechatronics; or a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Alternatively, another comparable qualification is required.
Work experience
- Several years of professional experience in process analytics, analytical tech-nology, gas detection technology, or industrial maintenance
- Strong knowledge in the following areas:
- Process analytical measurement methods and analytical technology
- Gas detection technology
- Process gas chromatography.
- Test equipment calibration and analytical quality assurance.
- Management of change (MOC).
- Sample preparation and gas detection systems.
- Chemistry and physics.
